🎯 Introducing: Strategy Breakdowns 2.0
7 months in the making
Read time: 1 minute 12 seconds
Today, exactly 45 emails after I somehow landed on greyish shades of dull blue for the MVP brand, Strategy Breakdowns is finally growing glowing-up.
New logo.
New colours.
New typeface.
New animations.
New content design.
New … team member?
New … creative side-quest?
This email might be my favourite one yet.
But first, let’s give some love to today’s sponsors for keeping this newsletter free, and enabling Strategy Breakdowns HQ to build/make/create fun stuff like this on a daily basis.
Software teams have agile. Operations teams have devops. But what about product teams? Say hello to the "product operating model”.
Don’t forget to join Axel Sooriah, Atlassian’s Product Management Evangelist, for an exclusive webinar on August 27th/28th to talk about what the product operating model is and how you can make the shift through collaborative prioritisation, insight-based strategy, effective communication and more!
Attio is the CRM for GTM teams who love products like Notion and Figma. It’s powerful, configurable, and takes no time to set up.
Attio delivers value faster than any other product out there - with one simple tactic during onboarding:
They sync your work email and calendar to automatically map out all interactions you’ve had with enriched insights.
And the outcome? In less than a minute you’re looking at a view of all your relationships over email - and it all gets enriched with additional data. It gives you time back to do more important work.
For free, you can join companies like ElevenLabs, Replicate, Modal and more to scale your startup to the next level.
As much as I love email, it has its quirks.
One of which is deliverability (i.e. variables that determine if these emails land in your Primary, Promotions, or Spam folder).
The only way to breakdown the rebrand is through lots of visuals. But such an image-heavy email is unfortunately a Spam-trigger magnet.
So - we did a workaround: We built a digital scrapbook of the design process.
Start to finish. All the ideation, exploration, prototyping, iteration, misfires, rework, pivots, and learnings.
Plus, a bunch of new additions to Strategy Breakdowns HQ we can’t wait to share.
See you in there,
— Tom
